From the recording Air on a Canon (Pachelbel)
"Autumn is a fleeting season, melancholy by nature. Its ghostly beauty cultivates a fertile atmosphere for memories that wrote their history on a tablet of fallen leaves."- Brian Easton, 'When the Autumn Moon Is Bright'
I've been asked to play this piece a few times in recent years and this arrangement evolved gradually over time. It has been described as a rather "dark" and melancholic interpretation of Pachelbel's iconic Canon in D, which led to my choice of cover and video. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
